APRIL 8, 2022: Canadian Managed IT Services Provider 海角社区 has acquired Microlan Computer Centre (which was operating under a national IT franchise), a provider of IT equipment and services based in Red Deer, Alberta. They have also acquired a second unnamed IT company in Edmonton, Alberta. Completion of this acquisition was done on April 1^st, 2022. The acquisition will strengthen 海角社区鈥檚 presence in Alberta, specifically with the delivery of Managed IT Solutions in Western Canada.

"By acquiring Microlan, 海角社区 will have a more solid presence in Central and Northern Alberta. We plan to merge the Red Deer offices for greater efficiency and keep the Edmonton office.鈥� said Adrian Ghira, Managing Partner & CEO of 海角社区.

He continued, 鈥淗aving full staff in the Edmonton area will allow 海角社区 to grow stronger in Alberta鈥檚 capital. Additionally, we will now be able to serve a couple of new verticals where 海角社区 was not present. From a delivery standpoint, we will now have a more robust team to provide even better support for customers from both companies."

For 26 years, Microlan provided IT Services and Support to their customers in Alberta and British Columbia, with a focus on managed services, computer parts and repair, along with software management.
